What is the difference between Heritage and Urban rooms?
Heritage Rooms (Levels 2–4) are in the original conserved building, finished with reclaimed Chengal timber. Urban Rooms (Levels 5–8) are in the new building extension. Lighter, more contemporary in palette, with elevated city outlooks. Both categories share the same guest services and standard of comfort.
Why do room layouts vary?
21 Carpenter is a conserved heritage property. The original 1936 structure has been meticulously preserved, which means room footprints, window placements, and ceiling heights vary meaningfully between floors. This is a feature, not a limitation. If a specific configuration matters to you, our concierge team is happy to advise before you book.
What is the maximum occupancy for suites?
Most suites accommodate up to two guests. The Heritage 2-Bedroom Suite accommodates up to four guests, making it the most practical choice for families or two couples travelling together.
Is breakfast included with my room rate?
Breakfast is not included in standard room rates, but is available at Kee’s Neo-Bistro & Bar at an additional charge of SGD 25++ per person.
What amenities are included for all guests?
All guests enjoy complimentary access to the rooftop infinity pool and lounge, complimentary use of Linus bicycles, in-room dining from noon, evening turndown service, and 24-hour concierge. Airport transfers are available on request.
Which suite is best for a romantic stay?
The Heritage Balcony Suite is particularly popular for couples. It is the only room in the hotel with a private outdoor balcony. The Heritage Suite is equally compelling for those drawn to the deepest expression of the building’s heritage character.
